Every January 24th, in honor of Frederick the Great's birthday, I present all of my Prussian army on the home tabletop for the review of the troops by King Frederick II of Prussian.

Absolutely outstanding!
I agree…I never get tired of seeing such exquisite figures and terrain, particularly the battlefield extras such as gun gins etc..
Well done and thanks for sharing your photos.

Outstanding work DAF. It's always fun to pull out all of the toys once in a while to see all of your fine work displayed.

A little music to accompany the troop review.

FYI: the first picture illustrates how I organize my infantry brigades:

2 x regiments (each regt. has 2 battalions)
2 x regimental colonel or inhaber on 1" by 2" rectangle base
1 x 3-pounder cannon per regiment (so that is 2 x 3pdrs in the brigade)
1 x two-wheel small arms ammo wagon.
1 x brigade commander on 2-inch round base

really super and with feelings.
I will try to do the same to honor my grand grand grand etc. mother in law, Her Majesty the Emperess and Queen Maria Theresa on 13th may…

I will also do a parade of my Austrian army within the next couple of weeks.

More excellence to look forward to – now where's that lovely figure of Maria Theresa on horseback…? Richard may need to sculpt one. :)

I can't wait, der Alte Fritz… I am sure they will look as wonderful as the Prussian, or even more, considering the beauty of the Austrian uniforms. Good look.
