My first game of 2016 had a naval theme. I also lost :p

Really enjoyed that thanks and the game looked superb. Very interesting to read your comments on the rules, which I have not tried

Best wishes,

Nick

I only play Perfidious Albion rarely – at the request of friends. It is a game rather than a simulation, IIRC, no distinctions are made between the quality of guns or the respective efficiencies of the gunnery of different navies or the command efficiency (to coin a term) thereof.

B that is not a problem. Even as a game it is very very tedious. I would not like to play it as a simulation.

Great report and very interesting scenario – I'm very tempted by Greek-Ottoman encounters such as this. Interesting to her the views on PA – I was tempted to buy them but not sure now. In truth, I only buy rules I can download these days – postage to Australia is a killer.

I must have missed PA on WGV, thanks for letting me know. Cheers A
