Hi all. Can anyone recommend a suitable 28mm figure to represent Gamora from the Marvel comic series. Ideally i'm looking for a fig that's similar to how she was drawn in the Jim Starlin Adam Warlock series. Thanks |

Summerwind – unfortunately I find the heroclix stuff to have poor detail and I'm not a fan of the 'soft plastic' :-( Rubber Suit Theatre – yep… that's the one. I"be got a feeling i"ll have to do some converting.. which i'm happy to do. I just need to fund a suitable base figure to start with. |

I'd go with a nude female, remove any obvious nipples (ouch!), add the belt/kirtle, maybe sculpt some more hair, and paint the other details. Hasslefree has several good candidates in useful poses: Concubine, Layla, Yllsa, Lenore, Lena, and Tabitha, for example. Some are metal, some are resin, but all are beautiful sculpts, and well cast. I won't post pics of the minis, in case anyone is offended by minis of naked women, but here's the Hasslefree website: hfminis.co.uk/shop |
