It was my first time attending this year. We met a number of players from the Atlanta area (where we'll soon be moving) and had a great time.

My son and I managed to get into 4 great games. An ECW Hack game with a wonderfully constructed island castle ran all weekend. We played a fun Battle of the Bulge game in 20mm and a TSATF in the early Sudan (so no British) and ended the con on Saturday night with one of the best mass fantasy battles that I have played. It was some modified version of Big Battle DBA and was a unique campaign style game using Game of Thrones factions. I am glad we stayed for the evening session.

Thanks guys for a great weekend of gaming. If you haven't gone to Siege give it a try. It is a smaller con, the people were very friendly, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The hotel was easy to find and the rates were reasonable. Sorry no pictures. Maybe someone will come along and post some.

Ditto from me… though I did get killed in the Game of Thrones game…

The game was Tom Thomas' fantasy version of DBA 3. Great fun.

Great convention overall…

Crowd was good, staff was excellent and we had a great time. Both of my Cedar Creek scenarios were full. We will be back!

Really enjoyed playing in both of these games. ACWBill's Cedar Creek game was an amazing spectacle event and I can only imagine the amount of time invested to pull it off. The new Fire and Fury rules were actually quite easy to pick up and learn, even for me who had never played Fire and Fury.

I only played as an ally in the Game of Thrones battle, but was talking with Tom Thomas afterwards and despite the amazing amount of houses represented on the field, I think we only scratched the surface of his collection – all beautifully painted. I could almost feel the chill of the approaching winter.

Here are a couple of my own games. The first is of the "Dawn at Cedar Creek: Confederate Tidal Wave" scenario.
The second is of "Little Phil's Ride". They were connected Fire & Fury Second Edition Scenarios which the Yanks pulled out by 1 (one) victory point 29-28.
