I'm sure all of us read around our favorite periods, but are there any wars/time periods/campaigns about which you collect and read every book you can find? For me, my interests are very varied but I obsessively snap up every book I can find on the War of 1812, Stalingrad, and the BEF in France. |

My dad's personal library has 20K or so volumes, mostly dealing with nautical subjects, probably followed by the ACW, early American history, etc. My answer to your question is, "No." |

No, my interests vary widely. Three interests that I generally look for books on are the Spanish Civil War, the Indochina War, and the Bay of Pigs Invasion. For the SCW I do try to read all of the books published on the International Brigades specifically about American, Canadian, British and Irish volunteers. For the other two periods I am pretty much limited to books published in English. |

Arnhem / Oosterbeek and to a lesser extent Market Garden. Then there are my Napoleonic books – both newish and antique |

Well, I used to buy just about every item of Custeriana I could find. Counting books, pamphlets (some of the best items) and periodicals, I have over 2000. I have read about 95%. Some of the rare ones were beyond my spending limits. Now I only buy selected ones. Tom |
