I finally have some pictures that I want to put in a post on TMP but I can not work out how to imbed them, (I don't have flicker or a blog) how can I add them to my post?

Thank you in advance

First the picture must be posted on a publicly accessible website, then just type the image address in your message.

R-click image, Copy image location, Paste <ctrl-v> here in your post.

Your pic has to be hosted somewhere online already. TMP requires it.

Like Waco Joe said, they need to be online first; so you will need to sign on to something like Flickr or start a blog, other wise you won't be able to add them.

As WJ says… The photo must have a public URP address to link to. Having on your private computer linking doesn't work.

P.S. I would use the "copy" command for the URL address to avoid typos.

Edit… beaten to the comment line…

Get a blog, cavalry47. Just use it for hobby stuff.

I started a blog and never looked back. My blog is an easy to search depository for everything I do games wise – including a great place to file my pictures with notes telling me what they are of exactly. Its a much better way of storing stuff than a list of albums because the blog posts have a context, not to mention lables.

You can use your own photos. For instance, let's say I have a picture on my PC.

I go to an online image hosting site like this one:

tinypic.com

It asks me to browse my files, which I do.It's a hideous alien invader. It asks me what size I want, so I choose a thumbnail size. Otherwise it's too frightening :)

It offers several formats. I left click on 'forums and message boards' (not 'websites' for TMP)

I right click right here:

I hit submit and get this ---

Flicker or Photobucket or something like that.
