I was wondering after seeing Jackson's Battle of the Five Armies, if any one out there has Dwarf Cavalry in their armies or games? Any riding rams? or do you use small ponies?

I have dwarf cavalry in my 10mm armies. They are mounted on Bears and Rams.

I'm a purist. Dwarves don't have cavalry. But they do have gyrocopters! (Okay, I'm not much of a purist…)

I don't recall Tolkien was ever mentioning dwarven cavalry. However, in Hobbit dwarfs are using ponies, same with LotR for Gimli (ok, he was not enjoying it, but still…)
As my dwarfs are 28 mm, I have a unit of goat riders from Westwind, they also have ram riders.

I have 28mm Dwarven cavalry on bears (Reaper), goats (Ral Partha) and ponies (Essex). But I was not following Tolkien since I was creating my own world and I had no resistance to cool miniatures.

Yes I have unit of 10 very very old Citadel Dwarfs on ponies, unsurprisingly known as the Pony Express.

I have Dwarves mounted on both Rams (Ral Partha Europe, 25mm), and Boars (28mm, Old Glory). Sorry, mine are not done yet with the paint, so no photo's, unless someone really wants to seem them, before ordering. They're great figures, IMO.

With regards to cavalry, I try to outfit each race with some sort of cavalry, to even the odds: Goblins riding Giant Bats for aerial cavalry, as well as Wargs (med. cav.), and Wolves (light cav.); Lizard Men riding Giant Lizards (Schleich toy lizards, with 25mm Caesar Fantasy Lizard Men figures adapted to ride); Ogres riding Yaks, as well as Giant Lizards (MK Kruug figures). Cheers!

In Kings of War by Mantic – Dwarves get Brocks with Berserker riders – thinks Trollslayers on giant badgers – pretty cool actually
