I would like to know if anyone has recently ordered from Black Cat Bases and what was time to fill the order? I am considering ordering from them?

If you do order from them now you might get it near Christmas.
My last order took about nine/ten months. |

Yeah, they have some items I would like to order, but based on their lack of communication, I won't be ordering from them anytime soon…. |

Here is a response from Black cat Bases from a message I sent them on 01/1/2016: Hi, We are only a small business so we ask for 7 days for metal and a bit longer for resin at this time of year (resin does not like setting in the cold and takes ages!) The reality is most metal orders are much quicker than that, but that is our stated turn around. If you need something urgently for an event we will always try and accommodate any requests, if you tell us in advance then we will be able to tell you whether or not a very urgent order is possible. I would make sure you use Paypal and give them 21 days to deliver, then start a dispute. It does wonders …. |

I haven't, but several people on LAF have reported ordering and having the orders delivered in a two week turnaround (slightly longer to the USA, obviously). I *really* hope this marks a return to the previous service level from BCB. I like them both as people and as a supplier, and despite being caught up the old mess-up, I want to see them back doing their thing. let's hope. If you use them, please let us know how it went (good OR bad). |
