I've just finished painting up these dead animals – mainly for WW2 Normandy, but I'm sure they'll be used for other areas.

Thing is I don't know where I got them or who makes them.

Any ideas?

Plastic or metal? Scale?

Starting from the left and going clockwise, that's Bossy, Daisy, Rosie, Dobbin, Annabelle and Beauty.

The police are on their way to determine if this is a Jim Jones-style suicide cult, or a mass murder.

Okay looks like a dead cow, dead horse, dead cow, dead horse, dead cow, & lastly a dead cow.

mwindsorfw15 Jan 2016 2:28 p.m. PST

That is stuff for your paratroopers to hide behind in Normandy.

I'd like to report a case of cow tipping.

You have to tip your cows – their salaries aren't enough to keep a roof over the calves' heads.

Animal non-mutilation by really lazy and indifferent aliens? Sorry. I will have some more to drink and maybe come back with better jokes to caption this picture…

They're not dead… They're pining for the fjords.

I am sadly tempted to get a set, then paint up one of the horses to match the miniature that the party paladin uses for his mount….

I won't even have to use it, just letting him see it in my miniatures case will do the trick… :P

This reminds me of a diorama in 1/35, that came into a club I went too a few years ago. One of the guys did a Tiger tank at rest in a field next to (I think) a Verlinden dead cow! It as stunning. I think he must have spent upwards of £300.00 GBP on etched brass upgrades, new barrel, metal tracks, the lot. Paint job was subline.

Anyway, the club rivet counter shows up to cast his 'expert' eye over this. He spends about four minutes looking it over. He has nothing, nada on it.
'Cow is the wrong colour.'
wanders off,
we burst out laughing.

To Roderick:
Dobbin? What the heck is a Dobbin? You must be a member of the British Empire.
thanks for making me laugh out loud, literally.
