At last I've finished this project. The question mark is because as I look at it I can see things that I still need to do. However, for now it's going to the cabinet for an appearance on the wargames table in a battle at the end of the month. I guess that knowing when a model is finished is a whole new debate! Thanks for sharing that, Steve. I have one of those and have been working up the courage to start on it. Mine will not be a nice as yours, but will have fun doing it anyway, thanks to your accompanying article. v/r Tom |

Yes, That really is good. I did enjoy watching the earlier stages, but the end product is excellent. I have researched the two 1815 carriages (one still extant at Malmaison and one incinerated in London nearly a century ago) and this does have the look of his Berline (he had many) pre his abdication in 1814. Your patience has paid off and the upper works in black looks far better indeed. Congratulations |

One of the nicest pieces I have ever seen. All the work you put into it really shows. Thanks for sharing this project. |

Thank you for all your kind comments. A special thanks to deadhead. It was thanks to him that I realised I had made a mistake on the upper bodyworks and his posts on the previous thread were really useful,. Thanks again – next project is British Light Dragoons… |
