Recently, our Roanoke (Virginia) gaming group fought out an ahistorical action preceding Leipzig. Over 2,000 figures graced the table with terrain produced by Battlefield Terrain Concepts. The Carnage and Glory 2 system worked superbly ! Here's the full report and pictures:

Beautiful game and it read like fun. I envy you guys playing for a whole weekend. The guys in my group don't seem to be allowed out that long.

Very impressive monster C&GII game!
What id you use for the playing mate that looks so Cool!
Are these 15s?

BTW
If you are looking for players in the future feel free to get me a notice. I can possibly drive up from Raleigh for the 3 hr drive for a full weekend game and perhaps bring 1 or more players!

Thanks Tom and Marshal Greg…….yes they are 15's……Doug Kline did the terrain,,,,,,,we get together about 3-4 times a year . Send me your email and I'll add it to our group email……..always looking for more players. We do a variety of scenarios……this one was one of the largest though.

MG the table "mat" is actually a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet from the 90s (they don't make it the same anymore), that has been flocked. It is draped over rough foam pieces to create hills/ridges. I then add all of the other pieces and then spread flock to blend everything together. The flock is later cleaned up with a hand vac and reused in future games or terrain.

The indoor outdoor carpet provides a good firm surface to go over hills etc. It is strong and does not get the sharp abrupt hills like felt will (thus I do not cut my foam packing materials and just use them from boxes etc). A carpet like this can be used as an underlayment under felt mats for the same effect and more gentle hills/ridges.

Love C&G II! Have used it often for ECW/TYW and ACW. Just got the Nap version and am painting figures now. Can't wait to get a game of my own in.
