This was a slow push due to finish due to the 50 mounted figures. With the SAGA Grand Melee months away, the Spanish are on my short list to take. A cerebral battleboard makes them a challenge to run (for me!) yet they're fun to play. All Gripping Beast figs with LBMS shield transfers and a scratch painted linen banner. Let loose the dogs of war and cry "Santiago!"

Very nice job. The commander looks like he is taking a nap on the horses back.

Yellow is time consuming to paint, and you did beautifully getting it nice and clean.

Very well done! looking forward to seeing this war band at the Adepticon Grand Melee this year.

Thanks fellows, much appreciated! The color theme was a bit of a risk but keeping the palette tight worked this time around.

Mike, looking forward to seeing you in Chi-town. What are you bringing? So many choices its tough to choose!

I took Irish last year but am considering Franks this year but concerned about mounted units in the Sacred Ground scenario.

I hear you. I can just see me walking up to the Sacred Ground table & discovering my opponent is Irish. My mounted warband in uneven won't be a pretty picture!

Great brush work!
