Aotrs Shipyards is a webstore on Shapeways.com, a 3D print house which had production and shipping facilities located in the USA and the the Netherlands. First release of 2016 sees the BMP-2 and the BMP-2M "Berezhok" in 144. BMP-2

A BMP-2 modernisation upgrade with Kornet and AG-30 GL. link Photos are of the Replicator 2 prototypes as per usual. That nicely gives us the BMP 1,2 and 3, with at least one variant for each type!
Next month's release is a bit up in the air at the moment; the planned BMD may be a bit delayed, as I have several commissions this month and may not have time to work on anything else new. (Though there is at least one release (Tunguska) reserved for such an eventuality, so at the very least, there will be something out in February.) Nominal plans for later this year (on no particular time-scale and subject to change) will include the T-72B (and the ERA armour version), BMDs (starting with the BMD-1 and working up). I'd also like to get to the T-80 and the T-62 (possibly the T-64), so then we have all the most common Soviet tanks from T-55 to T-90. Further down the line (commissions notwithstanding!) will be more Cold War-era German and British vehicles (e.g. Centurion, Marder 1 etc). As I say, this is but a broad outline, and may change as mood, commissions and circumstances dictate! |

They are indeed 1/144th (10/12mm). It does say "144" at the top there, but that's not as clear as I usually make it (see previous sentence); sorry! No idea why I didn't use my usual format… Still, at least this time I managed to spell the thread title correctly…! |

thanks for letting me know the scale, it is very easy to forget to put it on the post we all assume the customer knows all our models, as a manufacturer, I have forgotten to put scales on the odd price list as well! one of the downfalls of this job, too many scales. |

Nice looking vehicles, as usual. Good to see more stuff in the pipeline. Would love to see the M114 variants produced, for the US Armored Cavalry, on the front lines, patrolling the inner-German border back in the day. Spz Kurz with 20mm would be appreciated too (Spz 11-2). There were many variants of it as well, e.g. observer vehicle, mortar vehicle, ambulance, supply vehicle, etc.. Finally, Jagdpanzer Raketes and Kanone would be great too. The former with SS-11 missiles, and later, a HOT missile launcher. |

Slight modification to BMP-2… I came to do the BMP-2D (bit short of time this month with several commissions, so I wanted to do something fairly quick to get some backlog back up) and realsied one of the side ports was slightly in the wrong place. (It was in the same place as on the Berezhok – where it was right – so I don't know whether I eithe lined it up with the wrong pair of wheels in the first place or whether it creeped in while I was doing the latter.) Anyway, fixed now and corrected version uploaded to the store…! Just though I should mention it, in case someone had noticed (though you'd likely only have seen on the CAD models or with one in your hand…!) Edit: Fixed on the second try, anyway…
