X-Files was the anti-Scooby Doo Scooby Doo = every episode everyone believes there is a monster/ghost/alien – every episode the gang reveals it as a hoax – next episode everyone believes in the new monster/ghost/alien X Files = every episode nobody but Moulder believes – every episode Moulder & Scully reveal the monster/ghost/alien is real – no loose ends are dealt with – next episode nobody but Moulder believes |
