Hello All.

I need to have some vehicles sculpted to fit in with an existing Sci-Fi range. I would provide figures for scale and to show what we are looking to match.

Can anyone direct me to a good vehicle sculptor or contact me if they sculpt vehicles?

I am open to 3-D or hard sculpts.

Thank you.

Hi Zoltar,

I've done a number of vehicles, mechanical sculpting is my area of speciality you could say.

I don't work digitally, not yet. So it would be traditional work.

You can view my portfolio here:

JBR does do excellent work.

I shudder to think how much a printed prototype in 28mm would cost. Hope you have a thick wallet.

Cost increases exponentially with print volume. I think from Shapeways, you'd be looking at close to a grand for a 28mm tank in a high-quality material. I'd rather go with a physical prototype for moldmaking.

Yep, that would be my guess as well.

I concur on getting a physical model produced the old fashioned way, unless it is going to be very detailed, unusually shaped, or you expect to sell hundreds or thousands of them.

Here are links to some of mine, if you are interested- mostly multipart scale military and classic vehicles
