Any way to see the pel without signing up for a Dropbox account?

Dan Wideman II06 Jan 2016 10:12 a.m. PST

I'll see what I can do. Does anyone know of a good file sharing site that doesn't require a sign up for viewing? For some reason the FB page doesn't have a files section I can put it in.

I'll just paste it below. It's not that long.

What a fun and friendly wargame day this was; Tundra Con II.
I had loads of fun and played in two….
---
#1 Ancients: To the Strongest, GM Mike Huskey. Clever and compelling system in a good way. Mike you did a lovely job of explaining and keeping the game on pace. Everyone was a total novice with the rules and everyone had a ton of fun.
---
Break the Blockade: Russo-Japanese War Naval Thunder Rules; GM Dan Wideman II. A year ago our local sailors started playing Naval Thunder. Dan brought out 1/600 scale capital ships. Oodles of fun. Dan you did an outstanding job running the game.
---
Thank you organizers and GMS!

A great convention! My leadership of the British was lacking when it came to controlling the American rebels but a mad dash by the IJN proved exciting. I lied the venue a lot, being able to sit at the bar for eating and bs'ing was nice and also freed up table space that sometimes gets grabbed for snacking. I wasn't planning on buying stuff but having vendors there allowed me to score the Imperial transport! A good time.

Dan Wideman II11 Jan 2016 6:56 p.m. PST

Thanks to all for attending. We hope to see you back next year for TundraCon III. I'm glad you both enjoyed my game. I'm already planning the upgrade to the fleets for next year. I eventually want to work up to the Battle of the Yellow Sea.

Striker11 Jan 2016 7:39 p.m. PST

I've even started looking into 1/2400 pre-WWII ships now. Those 1/600 ships are nice but I use the "but it's in the same scale as my other stuff" as a nice buffer for purchases.

Dan Wideman II11 Jan 2016 10:42 p.m. PST

That's a good plan. I was starting fresh, so I wasn't tied to an existing scale. This project was a case of the models starting me into the period rather than wanting to do the period and then looking for models to fit.
