Did an order with redoubt miniatures (nice figures however…) the flags on both orders came in destroyed. He refuses to cover and i am at the point paypal has a claim. Shame because they i was really hoping to get more. He just puts the flags loose in the bubble mailer with the metal figs |

Never had a problem with Redoubt's packaging- including their flags sent as you described. How exactly were they destroyed? I can't imagine how they could have been anything more than creased- if that. I may be a sceptical sort of person but saying they were destroyed by this method of packaging, twice is a bit strange. |

Post a picture of the destroyed flags so we can see the nature of this catastrophe. Are they paper flags? I have always said good service from redoubt, but I guess I'll have to be more careful in the future of how I asked him to pack the goods. |

Could be a misunderstanding, I have been buying from Redoubt since 2002. By post and at shows and the service has been excellent. I lost a piece for a limber set which they replaced free of charge including postage! any broken bayonets are always replaced and I bought quite a few ACW flags and they threw a couple in free! Just can't believe the original poster, sorry. |

Received a package from Redoubt over Christmas including figures and a set of flags. the flags were in a plastic bag, slightly creased but ok. Never had any problems with them, and as mentioned above broken bayonets replaced without question. |

Redoubt is a good company to deal with the majority of the time. However, I have found in dealing with them over several years that if there is any problem or discrepancy with an order, their communication is not always consistent or very good. I had an order I placed in which I didn't meet the minimum amount required to ship to the U.S. They informed me of this by email, and so I emailed them back and said that I would be adding one additional item to the order to meet the minimum. I made two separate Paypal payments against the same order which in total satisfied the minimum requirement. The order then went into a black hole for about a month, until I finally emailed them again and had to cut and paste both Paypal payment invoices showing what I paid and that it was for the same order. They apologized and shipped the items soon after. What bothered me about this was that they kept the first Paypal payment, and it was them who informed ME that I needed to add an item to meet the minimum. I did so and the order then just seemed to go into oblivion. They had the first payment from Paypal and yet couldn't put two and two together when I sent the second Paypal payment. To me it was a simple thing, and given the fact that they had instructed me to do what I did, tells me that when orders have any kind of special circumstances or instructions, they don't keep track of it or aren't organized enough to keep track of it. How many orders could they possibly get in a month's time, it can't be that many to keep track of payments. If I hadn't emailed them after a month, that order would have been in suspension indefinitely. I like Redoubt overall, but the customer shouldn't have to be the one to remind the company that they have my money and that they need to combine the payments for the order so they can ship it. That's their job to keep track of it, both the order number and the payments associated with it. I should not have had to cut and paste all the payment information into an email to make them aware of what they should have already been aware of. |

Top notch company to do business with and my flags never were destroyed as you claim. As stated above please post a picture of what they look like. |

here are pics tough to see the surface of them that look like they were run over by a car (very pitted) All i wanted were replacements sent and he has caused a big fuss. Shame because I was prepared to order a whole lot more theminiaturespage.com
"TMP link and no I did not join just to complain however I am a huge ACW and AWI painter / player and never had issues with anyone before. I also own a large retail store here in pittsburgh and even distributors and our product manufactures all stand behind what they sell (as do we when a problem needs resolved) just a warning i guess – I am more frustrated that I was prepared to buy several more from him

Describing them as 'destroyed' is a bit of an overstatement, isn't it? 'Damaged' would be fairer. But they look aboslutely fine in your picture; why don't you try using them as they are? I've also had flags delivered like this where the metal figures have abraded the surface in transit. They didn't look good, but I used them anyway, and you know what? They look absolutely fine. |

because I take more pride in my armies than that when I spend 130.00 (price with shipping I want it to be right. Not compromise. Worst thing is I did not get responses to resolve. I I trated my customers like that I would be gone. I even eat product I sell to make customer happy. Had to file paypal claim and he is denying claim. All I wanted is flags. Then I changed to simple 10.00 for GMB flag replacements = denied again (by him). Ordered gmb anyway for 54th and irish. This is why I stay mostly with perry joy to deal with!! Just a warning guys |

So then what you are saying is that you don't want flags that look like they have been in battle. You want them in pristine condition. |

Legions, apologies on behalf of some of the posters, who are being complete somethings or other. Redoubt are a great company, but they also suffer from Original Sin, and obviously you've had a very rare bad experience. I can understand why it might be frustrating to spend a lot of money and not get what you thought you had ordered! |

I just put in an order from Redoubt. Small order of about 36 ACW miniatures and some extra heads. The order arrived in less than 3 weeks to the USA. One thing I noticed however is that it looked like the miniatures had been cleaned up. The bases were ground perfectly flat and it looked like the flash had been removed since there was part of the miniature that was more shiny where the flash had been removed. No broken miniatures either. I was actually impressed! |

My last order from Redoubt (Their ACW range) took 6 weeks to arrive (I live on the east coast of the US)……. |

Placed an order a very long time ago, still nothing but I suspect they will arrive soon. Sadly many of the resin models I've ordered in the past arrived partly broken, like small pieces of logs on revetments. Still, some can be glued back on, and models and prices are great so I don't complain. |
