Had the new fan installed today. It is whisper quiet. No more vibrations! |

Windows 10 … is the worse thing MSN has done since Vista … |

I got so fed up with Windows 10 I rebooted by laptop back to its original factory settings that ran Windows 8 I had to reinstall some programs etc but it was worth the effort I am so happy to see that my machine loads and starts quickly again instead of having to wait for another 10 update.Since 10 was free the old adage about getting what you paid for is true |

Don't understand all the moaning about Windows10. My only issue is that some of my older, but still good peripherals, such as printer and scanner, no longer have driver support for Win10 so my spare laptop has had to stay on Win7 as a print server. With my main PC running Win10, I enjoy seamless linking with my iPhone and iPads. |

Not sure what all the complaints about W10 either. I run it using Parallels on a Mac Book Pro. Did the same with XP, Vista, and W8. W10 is clearly the best of all of them, even XP. For admins there are a lot of good things changing and being added that have been neglected for years. Office has improved, both Mac and PC versions (although I long for the pre ribbon days and making my own toolbars.) For many I would guess it is time to do a computer refresh or at least do a clean install. Carrying that old crap froward through versions was a pain for me running it on a Mac. I can't see how anyone would do it on a pure Windows machine. |

If Microsoft could make it painless we'd reload our OS regularly but all the bother with getting all the correct drivers and previous programs is why people don't. |

I got a brand new HP … and a week later they uploaded Win10 … Have had many problems with signing on, etc. … The Techs I use, AVAST, every time the look at it. It not my Lap Top or virus or Malware, etc. … it's a Win10 glitch. And I don't have time to wait over an hour to get a MSN tech or in some cases I had to wait 2 days for a call back. And they didn't fix it. Or the fix didn't last long. But the AVAST Techs always seem to make it work. For a while there, I was calling every 2-3 just to get Win10 Microsoft Edge to work. I don't have/use any iPhones, iPads, etc. … I think they tried to make it interface/compatible with everything, etc., etc., … and released it with too many problems they did not foresee. And by giving it to us free, we ended up being the "field tests" … |

That appears to be true … I'm sure I'll be calling AVAST Tech Spt sooner than later to get my Win 10 working. When again, I can't open up MS Edge, etc. … |
