So has anyone used Rapid Fire scenarios for their Bolt Action games. Okay I know that the figure scale is different, but it almost looks like you could use the same amount of figs to get a good game in Bolt Action. Thinking of using parts of that wonderful Ionian campaign in the old Wargames Illustrated. |

Rapid Fire is basically a skirmish game disguised as a large-level game, so I imagine you would be quite alright. Just be prepared to fudge a tiny bit here and there. |

No I haven't, but I agree with Weasel. |

Agree with the above comments: just requires some tweaking. |

Yep we did attack on the River Bug a few times- worked fine--apart from the ludicrous short artillery ranges. |

Why use BA for such a large scale? Simply use Rapid Fire as is of you want to play a high level of game. |

The aim is to give the BA group some new scenarios. Little chance of getting them to move to Rapid Fire. |

D6 junkie try the Two Fat Lardies scenario books for Chain of Command. Same scale. |

Have you tried any of these scenarios? PDF link PDF link PDF link PDF link I have played my first Bolt Action game with this scenario; PDF link I have played several scenarios using the Iron Ivan Disposable Heroes rules. I used 20mm and 15mm figures and vehicles for the battles. |

I am always poking for decent historical scenario books. Board games like Squad Leader were good at that. Those are a little too big for most 28mm gems though. |

We've done a few – always (so far) worked out OK. |
