I am working on Bianchi's Austrian Division in Russia in 1812. The roll I am looking at shows a third regiment of 2/3 the 1st and 2nd regiment's size. I realize these were most likely depot troops (not landwehr) but they are listed as an 1813 reserve. I have the 1st Regiment with standard, 2nd Regiment with no standard and would like to do 3rd Regiment in greatcoats. Unfortunately AB does not offer Austrian/Hungarians in great coats. Would anyone have any comments, especially a source of Austrians in greatcoats? |

another question regarding Austrians. I have quite a few paint guides, but stumbled across this website. link Would the uniforms be this white?.. I have an idea in my head that they would be a bit more cream colored.. a tinge of yellow, maybe a very very light grey.. crossbelts very white. |

Lancs. Austrians are a good size match with AB's. |

Hi, Glacier. Here is a pic of what is on display at the Heer Museum in Vienna. Probably "parade ground" condition like Ken says:
BTW, Here is a typical Austrian Greatcoat:

Minifigs makes 15mm Austrians in overcoat and in many poses: Look for 32NO thru 41NO. Includes 1789, Marching, standing and kneeling firing, M/A, command, 1806 as well. They worked pretty well with the old Battle Honors figs I had. Packs were available and were separate for those who did not want them. (We included them in our GFI packs.) Not sure if Caliver supplys them in their packs, though. |
