Okay for Greeks on Crete in 1941, would British and Italian uniforms work? Trying to take advantage of this Blacktree sale |

This picture of Greeks in Crete 1841 came from a Greek magazine
L to R Officer cadet; 8th Infantry Regiment; Gendarmerie and a Cretan peasant. |

Yep a mix of British headson Italian bodies would work- thats hat I did in 15mm. But in 28 mm I would go here….but I would still maybe add a few head swaps. link |

Bruntonboy, those Greeks are really good, but they are in greatcoats. This project is on my list, too, and I plant to use modified Italians and some of the Tiger Miniatures Balkan Wars Greeks with headswaps. |

HA ha ha, I missed that minor detail. I'll have to find my new specs. FWIW my 15mm Greeks for Crete (1 Rapid Fire battalions worth) were mainly Italians repainted, some with British tin hats, the odd WW1 British figures-some with swapped Italian heads. The commander was a stiff upper lipped WW1 British officer complete with swagger stick. |

Here is a very good discussion of the same topic link Bruntonboy, thanks for the link to those Greek figures. Just what I have been looking for to add to my VBCW Collection. |
