Are the Team Yankee rules stand alone rules or do I need to also have Flames of War to use them??

Thanks!

EG

They are stand alone,

Tally Ho!

Is it the same system as FoW?

No, they are new, and apparently more streamlined, for faster play.

The cards have a lot of the data on them, so you don't have to refer to the rules as much.

As I understand, the cards are only available with the miniatures and not with the rules or as a download, is that correct?

No, you can download them from several sites.

Try here (Battlefront Team Yankee site) and search through the "recent articles" for the vehicle you are looking for. You only get the front of the cards though:

team-yankee.com

You can do a Google search on "battlefront team yankee game cards" and check out the images. You should find what you need.

They're stand alone but are derived from Flames of War. I joined the forum on the Battlefront site to ask some questions. In the answers, people kept referring to how Flames of War did something. I had to repeatedly ask them not to do that because I have no experience with FoW.

Still, even though some people were condescending expecting prior knowledge, overall the forum was helpful.

The cards are extremely helpful, but not strictly necessary as all the data is in the book.
