Mostly shop on WGV myself but I've occasionally taken advantage. Last day or so there has been no deal of the day. Because of the approaching holiday I suppose.

I've succumbed a few times, and now I always make sure I check it out when the e-mail comes in.

I don't think it would happen as much for physical goods – if I'm going to pay for shipping, it's probably going to be more than a single item that I pick up.

No.

I used to do that with specials. But lately I just find what I am looking for, save a few weeks for postage, and place my tiny order.

Accumulated pocket change is currently my hobby budget.

To answer JJ fully, I do take advantage on a rare occasion of BTD sales. I believe they are do for their yearly massive 50% off sale. It usually happens sometime at the beginning of the year. I may take advantage and buy a few packs for Dragon Rampant. Essex is another company who does this.

I am not sure this "deal of the day" model really translates to a figure manufacturer. It would probably work OK for a general wargames shop like Warstore where they have a vast range of products and manufacturers.

Post-Holiday Bundle sales are a great way to get a rules set or rpg with supplements group. Got a lot of good deals that way.
This time I may get the game Panzer and as many afv paper minis/counters as possible.
Or a new air game..

Not really a deal of the day type shopper. I will, however, dredge the dollar bin at somewhere I am already shopping for something I already decided to get.
