I am looking for a good set of skirmish rules for a "Wild Bunch" or "Duck you Sucker" type of scenario or some other scenario set during the Mexican Revolution. I will be using 28 mm figures and there may be between 5 to 20 on one side and 30 to 70 on the other. I would like something that can accommodate the use of a machine gun and dynamite and will also allow for the use of special characters (a few heroic or specially skilled characters). Also it would be helpful if the set or rules were easily available by mail order. Thank you, Kevin |

Well, Pulp Alley might work, you can download the basic combat rules from their site. What I like about it is you can rate your outnumbered chars to allow them to take on a lot more lesser foes. Last night we gamed 4 figs against 14 and the 4 won. Although – 70 some guys might be stretching the rules a bit unless you make most of the outnumbering side the same exact ratings. Another very bloody set of rules is Chris Peers 'Contemptible Little Armies' though the heavily outnumbered side probably wouldn't last too long. You might want to make up a few of your own rules to help the main figs. At least it can easily handle 70+ figures. They play fast too. |

I think "To be Continued by GASLIGHT" (included in the GASLIGHT Compendium or available separately) would work. Easily customized to allow for Hollywood characters. More info here: link |
