It's a 2nd or 3rd film based on the novell. Starts at 1912 about live of Don Cossacks through WW1 and Russian Civil War. I am on part 4 out of 10 or so. So far it's excellent, with lots of everyday scenes and great visuals. I only hope it will be available at some point with subtitles. Enjoy! First battlescene so far, 1914. "Quite Don" is my literall translation. I never knew it's traslated like that in English. Yes, it's "and quite flows the don". |
