In which I ask questions of all sorts to Sam Mustafa, historian and game designer:

Also more Gamers' Tales, reviews and stupid stuff I like men attacked by otters and crabs etc

Wouldn't cannibal crabs be eating other crabs? OTOH, I'm moving to San Antonio, where Texas' love-happy girls are.

Thanks for the interview though, good read. Sorry to hear Maurice didn't sell that much, I had fun playing it at cons and have a print copy and some ambitions here.

When are you going to release your "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" rules, Howard?

Dammit, I need to write those. I'm still working on a card game called 'Monkey Brain Surgeon' (the Simian revenge for human experimentation)

I would say that when Sam says 'Maurice' wasn't a big seller, he also says it sold 2,000, which is HUGE by independent game company standards.

Sam's ability to get high quality products out the door is remarkable.

I imagine "Weasels Rupped My Flesh" would be somewhere between 'Saurian Safari' and 'Eat Hitler' in tone… with a nod to Macho Women With Guns.

I would totally play those rules.
