I have a large amount of resin buildings to put together. 2 part epoxy dries too quick for me to do all the buildings I want at once and I have never found super glue to be effective. The building walls are about 1/8 inch thick so I dont think that I can pin them plus that is too time consuming. has anyone had success with any of the following? liquid nails gorilla glue' white glue wood glue pvc primer and cement latex caulk |

Simo, I have had excellent results with Liquid Nails Perfect Glue. It's not their usual Liquid Nails, this comes in a smaller tube and is more a sticky contact adhesive like Gorilla glue is. I've used this to assemble several resin buildings from Stronghold Terrain, and also to glue textured stone PVC sheet to a wooden surface. Works fantastic; link
The thing that I love about it is that it's very sticky so when you are gluing fiddly things like wall corners or roofs it provides a strong, sticky contact. In fact it's so strong that you can sometimes glue all four wall pieces of a building together at once, and stand them in their box shape without fear of them falling over. Just provide a light brace to each side and let it dry. Also, it has a setup time that is long enough to allow you to reposition parts if you need to adjust anything. I would imagine that it is similar to Gorilla Glue. I have found that with resin buildings you need something thick and sticky, and Liquid Nails is perfect for this project. |

2 part epoxy is sold in various drying times. Up to 30 minutes in some types. bsi-inc.com/hobby/hobby.html I sometimes use super glue to tack the parts together than then go back and add the epoxy because it's strong and gap filling. Mike Bunkermeister Creek Bunker Talk blog |
