All the recent post on Post Apoc gaming has got me thinking…

I'm tempted by recreating the classic 80s film The Road Warrior in 28mm. I'm interested by the pseudo-punk look of the bad guys in that film, with lots of masks and leather. I'm not interested in the Hell's Angels/rocker look. Do any of you have any suggestions for figures that might be suitable? So far I've looked at the following:

Stan Johansen's figures are perfect, but there isn't much available. link

Hasslefree has a few, but still not quite what I'm looking for.

Westwind has their Road Kill range, but I don't see much there.

Copplestone has a few packs in the Future Wars range (the scavengers would make some fine "good guys").

What I'd really like, and am having trouble finding, are some figures with masks (hockey, etc.), helmets with goggles, just like in the film.

Pig Iron's ferals might work, but they are little "military" in approach, not quite the nasty-drifters-look I was going for.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

The old Grenadier Future Warriors line had a few. It looks like Forlorn Games now carries them:

Foundry and Ground Zero Games (GZG) have a couple of useful figures.

EMJ-4 carries the old grenadier line in the UK, there's one with a Hockey mask as I recall.

Cheers Roger.

Excellent suggestions, gentlemen, thank you. I wasn't aware of the old Grenadier line, and they are just what I was looking for. This is why I love TMP!

I just got these buggies in the post. Ask Jens about post-apoc heads. Masks, etc just like the film.

The Moonraker fit the bill, too.

Check Bloodbowl and fantasy football lines. plenty of the humans will work and the old bloodbowl wood elves were great. Shoulder pads and mohawks galore.

I think Studio miniatures or Hasslefree did an actual Road warrior Mel Gibson.

One more I'd forgotten about that might be worth a look.
