Kids of that age… managed guns like those on the Old West?

There are thousands of children, even today, that are taught to shoot at an early age. Here in the U.S. hunting is a tradition and in a lot of cases, a family tradition, passed down through the generations. My brothers and I were taught at a young age, to hunt to provide meat for the table. My daughter was taught to shoot a rifle at 13yrs old.
