HI folks, not much posted for a while, but I've been busy starting and finishing a new project, and even getting some use from it.

After dithering a while I finally picked up a 15mm Napoleonic army – Warrior miniatures in particular, sure their a little basic and static by modern standards, but at £2.50 GBP for 12 minis I really couldn't grumble, and simple models are easier to paint in a hurry.

This soon led to a small army:

And others besides…

Plus I managed to get a (currently) rare game in too. You can see all about our refight of Elchingen here:

It was a game blighted by bad dice and New model syndrome, but fun nonetheless.

Enjoy!

They're certainly a nice little army!

Nice army – and in the battle you actually better than Riesse did in 1805, when he lost 6,000 Austrians to 900 French!

Austrians are always a good choice. Main opponent of France during the period.

Yes, a very nice little army.
Great looking game too! I have lots of Austrians in 28mm.

Nice looking troops, and a good small, balanced force to start with. Now to add some more Line infantry (Hungarians?), some Grenz, etc…
