Some pictures of my reciently compleated 15mm Bavarian corps for the Fire and Fury Francais set of rules. This corps was commanded by General of infantry Ritter von Hartmann and participated amongst other actions in the Battle of Wissembourg (1870) · battle of Wörth (1870) · and the battle of Sedan.

Thanks chaps, there was a large break in the middle of painting all of these but got there in the end.

Is Fire and Furia Francese a variant of Fire and Fury or a separate stand alone ruleset?

Would I have to buy the original F&F rules first?

vtsaogames12 Dec 2015 3:12 p.m. PST

Furia Francese rules are free here wfgamers.org.uk
check bar at top of page for drop down menu.

Not sure if you need F&F but since the variant is free…

A grand tactical set of rules that plays like a simplified F&F is Bloody Big Battles, my game of choice these days.

Thanks for that. I will check this link out.

We have started using BBB for the FPW and it worked out quite well although the table was very cluttered with scenery.

We are planning to do Koniggratz in the new year but we might remove any non essential scenery.

If you scrole down the pages here link
you will see very large games played using the Fire and Fury Francaise rules, these work exceptionally well but a word of advice, compleatly remove from play any 'spent' units(these are the units which in the rules have taken heavy punishment and are on their last legs), it may seem harsh but all of these worn out units simply clutter the table and slow up play while contributing very little to your offensive/defensive capabilities.

Great looking table! I assume the hill hexes are Kallistra? How big is that table overall?

Thank you Sheepman

I will take your advice about the spent units.

I love your blog by the way.

Both very very nice, I love the look of FPW, I intend to do it in 10mm but am unsure of rules. Was looking at Black Powder
