The description says 208 pages. Wow. |

It's designed for Fleet actions, not ship on ship fights, and while it's a stand alone system it ties in with the Eagle's Prey ACW period campaign rules from HR Games. The first 50-odd pages are the rules, ship lists, commander lists, then you have some scenarios like the Battle of Memphis, the Battle of Lissa. The rest is historical background including the complete book "The Gulf and Inland Waters" comprehensive review of naval actions of the ACW, printed in 1883, based on contemporary reports and accounts. link |

I've got to say the cover is not saying fleet actions at all to me, its saying 25mm scale ship to ship boarding skirmish rules.I fear that the cover is going to put off a lot of people who want fleet action rules but I wish them all success. |

The rules were published in 2010 and I came across them at On Military Matters but have never heard of them and they seem to cover the later 1800s which is what my group is looking at doing. |

I haven't heard of it, I'm a big fan of Iron and Fire. However, for 20 bucks it looks worth a read. Even if you don't like the actual rules, all the extras seem worth the price. Seems you can't lose. |
