Guys
Been waiting on an order from architects of war for 6 weeks now – Perry miniature stuff.
No response to phone messages or emails.
Noticed they no longer carry full Perry or gripping beast ranges.
Also noticed increasingly large discounts being offered and clearance of stock.
Are they going under ??
before this they were always really good on the service side.
Cheers
Roy

They are not closing that I can tell, but who knows since they are not communicating. They are no longer a Perry Miniatures distributor.

If they are stopping their stocking of historical minis, they'll be dead to me.

Maybe they have suffered a catastrophic health issue, since this behavior of the past month has not been typical.

I think it's exactly what it looks like guys. We knew something was wrong last April by the way they broke a business arrangement with us.

Thanks, Nick. Alan Perry report they are no longer supplying product to Architects of War. Sad. There is NO excuse for not communicating with their customers, painful as it may be. They are also not exiting gracefully, forcing their customers to cancel their payments rather than doing the honorable and responsible thing up to the end.

Agreed.

I can sympathize with all the customers still waiting for orders, that has happened to me with other companies. But I wanted to pass along that I just ordered a bunch of stuff during their 40% off sale (selection was thin but I got some figures I was looking for, a pile of plastic Renendra bases, some scenery stuff, paints and brushes) and it arrived this morning. So at least someone is still working there!

I was wondering whether they were changing their business when I tried to pick up a few things during the sale – looked like a great sale, but the stock was minuscule. Sad to see this as they were my go-to place for Gripping Beast, Fireforge and Perry. At least I can get the latter two at The War Store, but I don't know of alternatives for Gripping Beast.

I'm glad I found this thread!

I placed an order with them back in October for a bunch of Perry AWI figures. They shipped the plastics but the metal Hessians were special order and they never shipped.

The order was from October 21st. I paid for the entire order with Paypal. I've had gotten absolutely no communication from him since early November, no information on a Paypal credit, shipping status nothing.

I would not be as upset if he had sent out a communication to customers with existing order, at least explaining what his plans were. But to get no information, and then to go to his site and see it shut down – well that's just ominous.

If it is indeed a health issue, well of course I don't with that on anyone and I hope he will be ok – but this is not the way to run a company. He could have found someone to at least handle his email communications so people would be kept totally in the dark.

I am not liking the combination of the fact that has a chunk of my money, an open order not fulfilled, and a shut down website, all with no explanation whatsoever.

I think I will buy my Perry Hessians from the Warstore, which is what I should have done in the first place. Neal ships stuff within hours if it's in stock, and if it's not in stock, he keeps in full communication with you until the order is completely filled.

Sorry for the misspellings in my post above, I wrote this late at night and was not fully awake!

Thanks Guys,

mighty pissed off – had the same experiences as others above – partial order met with in stock materials but special orders did not come through – looks like they still wanted to take the money but not honor it. Would have been happy if they had just sent me some of the stuff they had in stock rather than just ignore me.

Was waiting on 18 Perry Lancers – so not an insignificant order. Totally scunnered as they knew what they were doing.

Feel worse for any kid who was getting stuff for his xmas who could have been ordering with his pocket money.
