I have several. I also need to get back in with one of my old gaming groups, but time has been tight.

They ship mannequins all the time. Just prop up in chair opposite the live gamer and start the game. Era period hat atop their head of course. He or she won't complain as you run over their stationary but valiant miniature defenders with favorable movement card picks and fancy dice rolls. Even more fun to actually lose the scenario to the dummy who will keep the same smiling face throughout the scenario.

P.S. to the OP question. WR has regular live opposition on the tabletop but more friendly bodies always welcome.

Active Historical group locally (cons are "Anything Historical or Anything Miniatures" thematically) plus several potential SF and Fantasy opponents from that same local area.

Yes, would like to have one. I have no regular opponent. Only game against others at HMGS conventions every four months. Due to this lack of regular opponents, most of my time in hobby spent painting figures and researching. I do play solo from time to time.

Plenty of opponents for 40K, X-wing, none for historicals. Would like to see more of a historical scene locally. I've tried to convert the unbelievers, it has been quite the job…

Yes, need one very much. Cedar Rapids has several game stores but no Historical/non tournament group that I can locate.

Yes, two groups that I play with regularly, probably a couple more reasonably local if I had more weekends in a month.

We have an active club. But I still have trouble getting enough players. I would like to play board games but I cannot get anyone interested.

I have a group that plays at my house. It will vary from 1 to 7 other guys at any given game. But I am always looking for more.
