"looking for "press molding" or scultping help" Topic

I am in need of some minor(i think)molding help.

i have a ogre without a head and a treeman missing his arm. i have the missing head and arm on intact figures.

Heres what i would like done: use the head and arm as masters and pay someone with the "know whats" to press mold 2 new parts for the incomplete figures.

can anyone help? if you think you can do this, let me know what your email address is, and we can work out something.

I would suggest a little investment in insta-mold and some epoxy resin and it should be feasible on your tod!

Here is a little video on YouTube showing how you could use Insta-Mold to make a 3-D part.

If the part is complex, or just to make life less difficult, you might want to include a registration point or two on your mold. This can be a simple as a razed or depressed area on the first mold half, so that the second half will be forces to align with it.

You can also fully in-case the part with the softened Insta-Mold. Since it is transparent you can come back later with a shape blade and split open the the mold without too much risk to the master part.

Kneadatite (Green-Stuff) or other epoxy-putty is the best material to make the actual casting from for one of these press molds.

could i use the super fine miliput?

I do not experience with Super Fine Miliput, but there is no reason to think it would not work as well.
