Yes, it's finally here – I have finally begun my Ghostbusters Project. Obviously, I'm not the first, as I do mention (and provide links) in my post and probably won't be the last, but this one's all mine…

I'll really look forward to watching your progress with this! Ghostbusters could make a great tongue-in-cheek game.

I love what you are doing and thanks for the links..

Thanks all. As was seen during October (officially Scooby Doo month on my blog), I do seem to have rather a lot of ghosts and other assorted supernatural critters. As my not-Scooby gang are somewhat outnumbered and I've yet to find suitable proxies for Sam & Dean Winchester, it was obvious that I needed some Ghostbusters (well, who doesn't?).

This project may run for a while, as I keep thinking of new bits to add to it…you never know, we might get an AAR near the end, just to see if my home-brew rules can deal with paranormal investigation and elimination!

Carrion Crow,
Just FYI, American On30 is a variation on O scale (1/48) which uses HO track to model the narrow gauge railways, such as logging and mining railways, which were once common in the mountains and rural areas of North America. Bachmann makes a line of On30 locomotives and railroad cars. It is an excellent scale to use with 28-30mm miniature tabletop gaming, as the scale is almost perfect while HO track takes up less space on the table than O track would, and the trains can negotiate tighter curves…the same advantages as the real life narrow gauge lines had in their day.

Thnaks for the info, Rags, very interesting.

My limited knowledge of model railways is along the lines of "Does that look like it would suit 28mm? Why, yes it does…" The Plasticville buildings are usually listed on eBay as O Scale, whereas my link to Tower Models lists them under American On30, so I just assumed it was a sidewalk/pavement thing.

You're welcome, CC. Here is a table shot of my own On30 locomotive and tender in a Pulp Alley game set-up. The train is O scale, but the track is HO:
