This is the latest release from S-Model – a 1/72 15cm s.IG.33 Infantry Gun (kit number PS720190). The box contains kits to build two guns. No photo etched parts and decal included.

The building process is a bit challenging because of the tiny parts. But overall it is a very pleasant experience. Fit is perfect for almost every parts.

I left the two forks (parts S22 and S23) and the gun sight (S19) to the last step when the gun shield is installed. This is because in Step 1 it is not easy to determine the right angle of the folks and the gun sight.

The last step – installing the shield looks like a daunting operation. But it turned out to be very smooth as the fit of the forks, the shield and the two front arms of the carriage body is perfect.

This gun model is rich in details, as many other S-Models' products do. Highly recommended for scale modellers as well as war game players.

A nice review of what looks like a nice kit. I will remain strong and not be tempted back to 20mm…I will.

Excellent. Meanwhile I just finished their Hotchkiss H-35 2 in 1 fast build kits (review to come soon). S-Model has really done us Early War fans a very good turn… hopefully they'll do something French next, preferably of all things the Lorraine 28 4x6 personnel carrier for 1e DLM dragons porte to ride around in…evil grin
