The latest product in NEUCRAFT's 1/56 line. This kit can build one Renault R35 light tank, with two turrets and two guns – to build an early type and a late type R35.

A late type turret can also be fitted with a short-barrel SA18 gun.

R35 light tank was used by many countries, including France, Poland, Romania, Germany and Italy before and during WWII.

The kit is available from our webshop neucraftmodels.com and our eBay store stores.ebay.com/miniworldshop

The German cupola would have been useful!

Tally Ho!

lou passejaire04 Dec 2015 5:50 a.m. PST

will be a new model … axis beute R35 …

NeucraftModels04 Dec 2015 6:48 a.m. PST

to nickinsomerset and lou: the original 3D design is to have both the French cupola and the German cupola as separate pieces and let modellers choose which one to use. The final product has the French cupola cast in because the French cupola, as a separate part, has a thin edge along the bottom where it meets the top surface of the turret. This thin edge may be broken during casting. There will be a German type turret at later stage.

i understand perfectly … and some R35 in service with axis forces kept the French Cupola

Beautifully detailed model.

I'd love to see you guys try your hand at some Axis AFVs

andygamer05 Dec 2015 10:44 p.m. PST

Are they cast in resin or are they 3D printed in a resin type (or whatever plastic you chose for the printing process)?

Yes there will be some next year.

It is a kit in PU resin. We only use 3D printing to make prototypes.

Is Neucraft Models still work? On their side the lack of models, ebay store does not work, the service did not respond to e-mails …

lou passejaire15 Feb 2017 4:42 a.m. PST

it's Chinese new year holidays, but Neucraft Models is going to close soon …

and it's a shame as those models are the best 1/56 resin ever seen …

Royston Papworth16 Feb 2017 1:18 p.m. PST

Why are they closing?

I was looking at their Hotchkis H39 only this morning…

lou passejaire17 Feb 2017 7:46 a.m. PST

not enough customers, it seem's …

For a year trying to sell 50 models of the Renault R35. There is a great demand for French in this scale.

Today I bought the last two tanks: 2 Renault R35 and 1 Hotchkiss H39 … someone beat me and I got a second H39 … I wanted more models, in Poland, they practically do not exist.

In the next month, they have to sell some form for wargaming company so we can still see these models. Maybe.

Royston Papworth19 Feb 2017 12:08 p.m. PST

I confess, as soon as LP said they were stopping selling I picked up an H39. I wish I had picked up two now….

lou passejaire20 Feb 2017 3:32 a.m. PST

i bought some (2 more) citroen traction … and some FM 24-29 LMG ( for the vehicles ) and a 47mm gun, as i have one in western desert camo, and plan a 1940 French army this year …
hope the masters will be buy in europe to keep postage EU friendly …

Telamon20 Feb 2017 6:35 a.m. PST

Bindon Blood – Fortunately, Mr. Zheng in his warehouse he found for me and booked Renualts.:P
With one H39 somehow I survive … but I could use more R35 a tank platoon fighting in Syria. Maybe someone will release a model Hotchkiss H35 …
I also bought a M24 / 29 and anti-tank cannos.
I would like to models bought Warlord Games ..

Wow, just saw this – such a shame Neucraft is shutting down. I agree with Lou; my Neucraft Otter is easily the cleanest and most detailed resin kit Ive ever assembled.

AuvergneWargamer02 Apr 2017 7:21 a.m. PST

Very nice indeed!

Sadly closing down and also I'm sticking to 20mm despite the obvious appeal of 28mm!

Cheers,

Paul

I don't know how you gentlemen feel about based vehicles but here is my range of French 1/56 scale based models. All made in high-quality resin with white metal fittings such as gun barrels. Minimal assembly required. There's also a command turret available for the '35 vehicles available upon request.
