I thought it had done terrible and was not picked up. I guess I am wrong. Critics were very unhappy with it for what its worth.

Oh Please. Once again the Southern man who frees his slaves so that we can get rid of the pesky reason for the war. By 1860 it was illegal in the South for anyone to just up and free their slaves. In Hell on Wheels the "hero" of the show is from the South and freed his slaves before the war. Yeh, right.
