Anyone have any firm (to the nearest month) idea of when the Soviets finally gave up on these critters?
I know production ceased at the end of 1941 and read somewhere that the final few surviving vehicles were eventually recalled to be retooled back into kv1s, but I don't know when this was and what was the last date they saw action?

As the title says, I've just posted my finished Frostgrave Warband up on my blog…

This was painted up as part of our Mo'vember Frostgrave challenge, many thanks to the other participants for making it such a fun months painting.

Thanks for reading, Cheers Roger.

Not sure what's happened here, or where the comment at the top of the page has come from?

Oh well, not to worry.

Cheers Roger.

You, sir, now have a post that is a victim of the "Nug," an irregular TMP hacker.

Lovely miniatures!

And my question regarding a December challenge has been answered by your blog…

I really like your bases. Not happy about attempting snow but your frosty grass is just the job!

Not sure what's happened here, or where the comment at the top of the page has come from?

You were denied the first post on your own topic, sir! Rage against the fickle and/or apathetic gods!

BTW, nice Norsey warband! grin

Thanks Legatushedlius, it's actually how I do all my bases, Miniature paints Chocolate brown dry-brushed with khaki then a lighter dry-brush of coffee, the I pick out some areas in colour party scenic green and flock these with Javis hairy grass, Autumn mix.

Somehow it seems to work on a variety of different colour boards from grass to "sandy rock" to frosty.

More by luck than design I must admit.

Cheers Roger.

And thanks.

Cheers Roger.

I dunno, a warband eith a KV-1 would make a pretty good haul in Frostgrave.
