Hey all, I'm looking for medieval, ancient, and fantasy figures in 25-28mm in plastic and preferably single piece (though I don't know if any are available). I'd be using them to play the upcoming Conan boardgame while I wait for the real thing. It has a print-and-play version out now that I'd like to use with miniatures. So I'm looking for barbarians, guardsmen, vikings, giant scorpions, and other things of that sort. I'd be willing to buy multi-part metal figures for the heroes. More info about the game can be found here. link |

The link below should get you started with the grunts. For animals and main characters, I'd suggest Reaper miniatures, particularly the Bones series. They have a large selection. link |

You just missed the cheap giant spiders, snakes and scorpions you can buy at Halloween shops for half price on November 1! Sometimes you can find these individually or in packs at party stores, year round. I love Reaper's figures, but if even Bilbo Baggins can take out a bunch of giant spiders, you are going to need a lot of them! Grelber |

You have a couple options First is picking up figures for the game Weapons and Warriors Prices all over the map on ebay, but I picked up 2 sets cheap auction I think the other option is GW LOTR figures. Pick up the commons that everyone dumps. Look at Warriors of the Last Alliance. Maybe also Gondor figures and Haradrim figures. Xin |

For historical human models, you might want to check out the HäT El Cid range (medieval Spain): hat.com/current28.html Depending on the model in question, they are 1-3 parts; in the worst case you need to glue in weapon and shield. |

I recommend Caesar Fantasy. Here is a link to some of their figures, but certainly not all. Be sure to look carefully at the photo's, for size of figures, feet to top of head, to make certain they are tall enough for you. They also sell Rat Men, Lizard Men, and Zombies. In addition to Caesar, there are the Dark Alliance figures (undead Humans, Orcs), as well as Light Alliance figures (Elves and Dwarves). All sets typically run around $15 USD/boxed set of 35 figures, delivered, from e-Bay sellers, usually from Taiwan. Cheers! |

You can try looking for old GW figures from WFB's from the 1990's or their Battlemaster Game. |

Or even the Old Hero Quest game from the 90's. I remember it came with a lot of orcs & skeleton warriors. |

As far as I know, there were no Skaven in Heroquest. They could be found however in Advanced Heroquest boxed set, but that is different game. |
