We have just made available our first miniatures for the "forgotten member states" of the Great War. Our Bulgarian infantry is available now soon to be followed by HMG team and company commander. Thanks for your time guys!

You mean "Balkan" war, don't you?

Porthos28 Nov 2015 5:52 a.m. PST

First of all I would love to know where you are. This because although I do love your miniatures as far as I can see (so please have a better picture), unfortunately mail from the US has grown (at least for me) too expensive.
Second: lose the officier ASAP. Nobody wants to buy 4 infantry and 1 officer each time…

Your absolutely correct that was a typo on my behalf. Should read Balkans. I'm sorry for the picture quality. There is an option for just two basic troopers in a blister on the store page as well for expanding a squad. Also we have always done minimal shipping cost because we aren't trying to gouge anyone we just want to get you nice cheap minis :) cheers

There is at least one other company that makes Bulgarians, and Greeks and Montenagrans. There are a couple that make Serbians. There is no one that makes ROMANIANS. I want to get some Romanians. They fought with the Russians against the Bulgarians, Germans and Austrians. I would love to get some of them.

What is the minimal shipping cost?

Inkpaduta28 Nov 2015 11:59 a.m. PST

I agree, it is weird how no one makes Romanians. You get just about any other country in the war but no Romanians.

Actually minimal is free to US,Canada,Australia and Europe 😀 Also no joke but our next army out will be Romanians! As they fought numerous battles with Bulgaria in WW1. So very soon!

Cheers

I just received an order of Bulgarian infantry from John and they are terrific. The proportions are very nice, the detailing is excellent and they have great character. Service was very quick. I am hoping to prime some up tomorrow and to get them painted with pictures on TMP as soon as I can (allowing for work, kids and Xmas shopping).

Got my Bulgarians today. Overall, good minis for a nice price. They are rather on the tall side of 28mm, comparable to Artizan and Copplestone's size. My only complaint are the rifles; they are quite crude, and don't resemble any rifle from the period I've ever seen. Other than that, these minis are mostly well designed and executed, and help represent some often forgotten soldiers of the Great War.
