So I'm sitting here enjoying my quiet day, making quick work of a cheeseball and crackers (the first of many this season I do believe), and my wonderful wife (Gawd bless her) comes into the room with two styrofoam shipping inserts from the box that held her monitor.
"Do you want these?" she says to me sweetly.
I look at them and suddenly, I see the front end of a lost Egyptian Temple, with facings and entrances and all sorts of things pertaining to good two fisted heart pounding action…
I look at it…hmmm…a cut there…cover with the compound….paint… add a nice Egyptian "Pharoah" motif to it…and there ya have it.
Even though I should've said "NO! I have enough "stuff" already!!!' I nodded my head and found myself muttering "Yessssssss….oh indeed."
She smiled sweetly at me. "I knew you would have an idea…like for an ancient tomb or something…"
So now she's reading my mind!!!! Sigh….and now I have TWO more pieces of oddly shaped styrofoam for yet ANOTHER project. God this hobby is horrible…. |

Actually, as my wife will unhappily attest, my collection/supply of as yet unused styrofoam in the garage takes up at least as much if not more space than all my miniature armies put together. |
