Boats are ready now. I have to move the release on the rules to the first week or so of December. Running out of daylight….

Looking rather good. Can't wait to see how the rules work out

I'm sorry. I just absolutely loved that dazzle camo scheme on the Laker. I'd buy the model just to paint that on her.

This is awesome.

I see a "WARPLAN RED" game in this…

I did Coastal Command many years ago. This has always been a fun genre. Torpedoes and searchlights took the most play testing of a design concept.

I thing that I would recommend is that you keep your notes and even start to work on a hex version. Your system may prove very playable as a board game as well.
I did it as well though several years after the original version. Actually turned out to be much faster and easy to manage.
Great campaign opportunities.
Good luck with your labor of love.

This game has to come to Navcon in Milwaukee. Even with only 50-60 gamers around, it would get a full table every time.

I've put in my pre-order for the new minis and eagerly await the release of the rules.

Quick question Dave: can you please identify the individual merchant ship models featured in your first link (with codes if possible). I recognize the Laker, but I'm drawing a blank on the other ships.

Well, two that were torpedoed are one off scratch builds. They were handy at the last minute. The small guy with the light colored bridge is my 300 ton coastal tramp. In the game it was actually a Q-ship but the smoke blocked it's view the whole game.

Bringing up the rear is a Bolshevik tug "Volga Volunteer" from my RCW line playing the role of a lumber scow. Another understudy dragged in as I was packing up.

That would explain why I'm drawing a blank wink. Thanks for clarifying!
