From the Russian Embassy in the UK, a little reminder of the fun times with Turkey:

Interesting that the Russkies are having to resort to posting comics in response to the downing of their Su-24.

I think they've got the image backwards in this case, where Putin should be the little guy, and Erdogan is the larger soldier.

You obviously haven't seen the (often rather crass) "battles" between NATO and Russia fought out on Twitter, Facebook etc.

Mako1126 Nov 2015 3:37 p.m. PST

Nope, don't do Twits, or Facebook.

They are and have been quite calm and reasonable for a long time, the officials. Just seen vice ambassador, top notch quality guy way above our politicians.
Of course they have to be reminded from time to tome that they are the ennemy ( again!) in case they would have forgotten, having no bone of contentions really with us.
The ennemy has to know he is the ennemy otherwise it becomes a bit ridiculous.

I firmly believe this qualifies as a microagression and should be reported immediately to the nearest cultural misappropriation committee! wink

Hang on, is that Russian chap in Turkey? Shouldn't he be covered in chunky gold bling and wearing speedos?

Mako1127 Nov 2015 3:15 a.m. PST

Which micro are you referring to?

Offending garden gnomes, wearers of red fezzes, unshaven people with large noses, smokers, drummers, people who dance funny, etc., etc.?

We really need to get that nailed down, I suspect.
