Just doing some reading on De La Rey. Seems to be a divide in perceptions of Del La Rey, one hand says he was a hero and brilliant leader of men (Lion of the West Transvaal) while others say the opposite. Anyone have any opinion either way? FM |

The author of his Wiki article seems to think that he was one of the strongest Boer leaders. link But I have no opinion one way or the other. Jim |
