Has anyone seen this book in advance or heard anything about it? Looks like a very interesting topic on a war in which there's not a whole lot available in English. Pretty steep price however…

$75 USD is pretty steep from Amazon US.

Its a Helion title so it might be made available on Kindle. It probably is a translation. Helion does price up its translations.

I met the author on trip to Italy last month and bought a copy from him of the original paperback in Italian. It is incredibly detailed, and he is trying to get it translates into English. Unfortunately, I believe the huge cost of translating this large book may be delaying its release. If you are interested, I would suggest you e mail Helion books directlly to get a progress report.

Well, Sr Dotto eventually got his translation, but no much assistance in distributing this title.

And further comments re how useful and authoritative it is?

Was it ever published ?

Don't think it was ever published. There are no references to either the book title or author's name on the Helion website.
