Wallabies?

Pro, or Con?

I suggest this for a new poll.

Pretty straightforward, and sorry, you only get the two choices, so no fence sitters, or disinterested parties to this critical question.

After the poll, I'd like to see the results broken out as to Australian respondents, and everyone else, so we can see how that impacts things.

Wallabies?

Pro, or Con?

???

Major B
He means the Australian National Rugby Team.
I have no real opinion either way, other than the Southern Hemisphere teams can be insufferably smug about themselves… :)

PS I named my car Lomu. She's 14.

It is a no brainer mako 11

warwell24 Nov 2015 3:21 a.m. PST

"I have no idea what you're talking about" should be one of the choices.

I'm in for "Watch me wallabies feed, Mate. They're a dangerous breed, mate."

Well they humbled England in the World Cup, so they can't be all bad. :)

Pictors Studio24 Nov 2015 7:32 a.m. PST

They look like small kangaroos, right? Are they a nuisance animal or something? What is there to be against?

Navy Fower Wun Seven24 Nov 2015 12:15 p.m. PST

Well, with a certain retirement just announced across the ditch, I'd be very surprised if they don't win the world cup in 2019…

benglish24 Nov 2015 12:17 p.m. PST

I'm anti-marsupial across the board. Koalas, possums, wombats … they're all bastards.

Coyotepunc and Hatshepsuut24 Nov 2015 12:26 p.m. PST

I thought wallabies were a style of shoe… I recall having a pair as a kid in the 70s.

Mako1124 Nov 2015 12:31 p.m. PST

Yep, definitely talking about the small, furry beasts…..

platypus01au24 Nov 2015 1:33 p.m. PST

Well, I'm against them.

JimDuncanUK24 Nov 2015 2:20 p.m. PST

I usually tell them to 'hop it'!

:)

Zyphyr24 Nov 2015 2:37 p.m. PST

How do they taste?

Patrick Sexton Supporting Member of TMP24 Nov 2015 4:00 p.m. PST

They'd make great pets.

I'll eat anything in a sausage.

Are we talking about standard wallabies or the lesser known Jorgensen's Fierce Long Toothed Wallabies?

I'm generally pro wallaby, since they are rather cute.

FPR, is that like one of the jackalope photos we see on this side of the lake?

FoxtrotPapaRomeo26 Nov 2015 2:56 a.m. PST

Mako11,

No, you're thinking about drop bears (the obviously little known cousins to Koala "bears"). It is actually a real animal – a Siberian Musk Deer but the face (less fangs) and ears are very much like a wallaby.

Oh, and I vote Pro.

Have a great day, FPR
