Came across these guys in my local Tesco…

The bigger mech-thing looks kind of interesting for a big 15mm PA-suit, but I'm not sure I'd want to end up with a load of the smaller guys – though despite their cartoony looks can't help wonder what they'd look like once given a spray of paint and an ink wash? As toys I assuming they're soft plastic? Anyone else looked at these or even handled them?

They look pretty chibi.

Okay this wasn't the post I was searching for, but I've finally painted one of these things up along with an ejected pilot-type figure (and Ion age knight with GZG head swap). The big guy was given a wash, arms and legs super glued in place and then painted, mainly with rattle cans. The plastic is on the harder edge of soft and took the paint no trouble. The smaller guys are soft verging on the rubbery, one donated his head to adorn the ejected pilot base!

Slightly better photos…
