On page 15 of todays Daily Telegraph there is a news item about a Girl's school renaming the houses from Gordon, Nicholson, Raleigh and Wesley to something 'more appropriate'. Pictures of the four people are shown. Unfortunately I think the one labelled General Gordon is not him, but another Victorian general, Sir Garnet Wolseley.
Someone slipped up in the proof room or picture library.
